KEY DATES AND DEADLINES

5 September – Last day for disbursement of Bahamas Gov’t Tertiary Grant and adjustments. for Late registrants

10 September – Last day to pay for Fall Semester for new students and late registrants (in-person at cashier’s cage during operating hours or via Banner Self-Service by 11:59 p.m.)

10 September – Enrollment and initial instalment for deferred payment plan ends for the Fall Semester for new and late returning students – Online Only (by 11:59 p.m.)

11 September – Final de-registration process of all unpaid students begins

11 September – Late Payment fee charged/applied for unpaid students not de-registered (if not previously charged)

3 October – Deadline for Admissions Application for Spring 2026

6–8 October and 13–23 October – Mid-semester examinations

9-12 October – Mid-semester break

13 October –  NATIONAL HEROES DAY HOLIDAY (UNIVERSITY CLOSED)

24–25 October, 31 October–1 November – University Placement Examinations

31 October – Last day to withdraw without academic penalty (online only)

10 November – UB Charter Day

10 November – Bahamas Government Tertiary Grant (online only application) opens for Spring 2026

13 November – Open House/ Recruitment

30 November – LAST DAY OF CLASSES

1-10 December – Final Examinations

15 December – Transcripts available online

18 December 2025-2 January, 2026 – Holiday break. University closed (with some exceptions)
